  • what a day.

i am home freakishly early today because i actually fainted at my internship. we had actually just finished giving this kid his immunization shots, (five in total, so you could imagine the kicking and screaming) when the next paitient had come in. he was just droning on and on about how he needed his refill and i was secretly willing him to say it in less than 15 words so i could sit down again. but then by head started feeling heavy and then everything became sort of dark. thats when i told natalie, the (p.a. i was shadowing) that i was just gonna take a seat. next, i was on the floor looking up at a bunch of people looking down at me. i don't remeber walking across the room or the actual fall.

after that, i sort of blacked out again, but the wierd thing is that i felt myself walking. they put be on a bed and gave me an oxygen mask. i think i was out of it again because a few minutes later, my right index finger hurt and they said that they had checked my blood sugar. afterwards, dr. udo (the lady who let me have the internship) made me drink a lot of orange juice. but before i even realized, my straw was scraping the bottom.

so of course, the mother was called, and feelingly strangely rejuvinated i walked to dr. udo's office to talk to her. there, i convinced my mom i was okay and called peter (guy who is making it super possible that i will get into the college of my choice with a scholarship) to let him know that i wasn't going to sat class because of well, what i just wrote about.

and after a long trade ride (j to the 5 to the 2; which is cake compared to the day i took the j to the L to the g to the e to the 6 to the n to the 7, just to get to sat class, when i only barely made it) and a deep night and some rockin music on my sansa (YaY!!!) here i am.

so enough about me. how was your day?

    so..................

i don't know why, but for some reason, when i got to summer school, i was surprised to find out that we actually have to work. i mean its sort of like woodshop, right? and it also recently dawned upon me, that i really won't be seeing much of anyone this summer, 'cept for minah, my mom, sis, dr. udo and crew, and of course peter and his crew. and come to think of it, simran, and monica and shati, and ,... well this is not the point i was trying to make. which is that i basically say by to my closest friends till august 15.
